This is a historic step towards women’s empowerment in the direction of women’s empowerment. Every eligible woman is being paid a monthly amount of Rs. 1000/- as per her eligibility period.
In other words, a total of Rs. 12,000/- will be credited to women’s accounts within 12 months. On June 10, 2023, the first monthly amount was deposited into the accounts of 1.25 crore Ladli Behna.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan says, “The Chief Minister’s ladli behna yojana is a plan that came straight from my heart. I have given you all the precious gift of your sacred bond. I also want to say that I will never let the love and trust you have shown me break.
My goal is to make sisters’ lives simple, joyful, and blissful.” He further states that the objective of initiating the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana is to make sisters self-reliant and economically independent.

For this purpose, self-employment and livelihood resources are being developed. Our aim is also to ensure continuous improvement in the health and nutrition levels of dependent children of sisters and encourage their effective role in family decision-making.

The top 10 entries from the state will receive a cash prize ranging from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 5000. This award amount will be sent to the active Ladli Behna DBT accounts of the winners.
Competition rules and conditions:
- The competition is only for beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana.
- Participants must mention the registration number of the Ladli Behna Yojana as mandatory to participate in the competition. Entries without the Ladli Behna registration number will be considered invalid.
- Participants must write their thoughts on all three points mentioned.
- Participants must provide their full name, village/city PIN code, Ladli Behna Yojana registration number, and mobile number along with the entry.
- Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
- The selection of entries will be done by a panel of experts, and the final decision of the panel will be binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Entries should be relevant to the topic, and any entry using inappropriate or offensive language will be disqualified.
- The awarded and received entries will be the sole property of the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh, for any usage or publication.
- Entries containing promotional links will be disqualified.
the Ladli Behna Yojana, how to apply?
If you want to apply and avail the benefits of the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, it is important to note that the last date for application is 30th March. Selected candidates will receive Rs. 1000 in their bank accounts every month starting from 10th June.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has organized camps for filling out application forms under this scheme. Currently, a survey is being conducted for eligible Ladli women in every Panchayat. Under the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Behna Yojna, every eligible beneficiary can fill out the application form at their Panchayat’s camp. Online applications will also be processed through these camps.
Visit the Gram Panchayat office and communicate with the officials there. Provide the necessary details and documents for registration. Complete the Aadhaar e-KYC process with the assistance of Gram Panchayat officials. Once your registration is completed, you will be informed by the officials.
